Runaway jury

I am serving on a Portgage County, Ohio municipal court jury. The trial should be over tomorrow. Of all the things I love about this country the fact we force people under compulsion of law to sit in judgment of their peers instead of bureaucrats doing it is right near the top. (I might sing a different tune if it was a month-long federal trial or something, I suppose.)
