The Watcher's Council selected these best posts from among those nominated for the week ending October 6.

Gates of Vienna, on a roll, scored with LGF Spots the Gilded Cage by virtue of a tiebreaker. When you're on a roll the bounces go your way! My first place vote went to On Harriet, Hurt, and a Huffy at the Sundries Shack, which boosted it into second place.

Lessons from a decent man at Sigmund, Carl and Alfred was named best non-Council post. Read it and you'll see why. Second place was Diggers Realm's Riviera Beach Mayor Stabs 6000 Residents in the Back With Eminent Domain Abuse.
