Carnival of Liberty XVIII

Carnival of Liberty XVIII is up at Fearless Philosophy for Free Minds. Among the contributions, Aimee Littau writes about the demise of Halloween -- now known as Fall Festival at Rootstown Elementary here -- in Sorry Kids, Halloween is Evil. A clever idea is the post The Lost PowerPoint Slides (Statue of Liberty Edition) at the Skwib. And read this thoughtful treatment of libertarianism in the face of a global pandemic at Below the Beltway: A Libertarian Response to Pandemics.

There's much more, I assure you these aren't necessarily the three best posts, just ones that caught my eye. My regular readers (like you, and you over there) will be interested in some of the posts on reforming Congress and/or the judiciary. I support a Single Subject Amendment but think there are better ways to decentralize the power of the Supreme Court than a constitutional amendment on term limits or the like.
