Watcher's Council results January 13, 20

Travel kept the Watcher's Council (what?) results from being reported here the last two weeks. Fridays from now on!

For those nominated January 11, 2006:

The Glittering Eye's comprehensive Perspectives on Foreign Command of U.S. Forces won best Council post on a tiebreaker. Honorable mention to the tie-ee, New Sisyphus' Misogyny Day. Patterico's opus Patterico’s Los Angeles Dog Trainer Year in Review 2005 won best non-Council post. Full results and lots of good links here.

Among the nominees announced January 18, 2006, The Glittering Eye made it two in a row, outright, with Options on Iran II. The Anchoress' NY Times Tipped Terrorists? won best non-Council post. Full results here.

There's still time to take advantage of this week's offer of more exposure for your blog. Watcher has a deal where he'll use host's privilege to nominate worthy posts suggested by you and your contemporaries who impress him most. There are some rules, helpfully summarized here. The deadline is 8pm Eastern each Tuesday. Check it out! Tell him New World Man referred you, it's worth two double super secret no-points in the voting.
