The Worldwide Leader

My theory is, if the ESPN people are scratching their heads over one of your first round draft picks, especially if you're a young, green newbie like Marv Levy, you might second guess yourself a little. If they're confused over two of your first round picks, it means you've got a plan. Excerpts from ESPN.com's comments (the ones they don't hilariously expect you to pay for) about the Bills' first-rounders: "Taking Whitner is a one of the biggest reaches we have seen"; "Some picks are more difficult to explain than others. It's true that defensive tackle is one of the Bills' needs, but taking McCargo here is one of the biggest reaches we've seen in years." At least neither one was a stretch.
