Almost saw a dead person in the mirror

It's M. Night week, or an M. Night couple days, here, as we get increadibly excited about the 9pm Lady in the Water show tomorrow night. Last night we watched Unbreakable, and tonight will be The Village, which I wouldn't allow Junior to see at first because he nearly lost his mind with fright at Signs, but now that he's gotten over that, we'll see what happens.

Yes, Junior will be going with us to see Lady in the Water. I don't mind his seeing scary movies if they're good stories and aren't gratuitous or graphic. (Letting him watch Shaun of the Dead with a friend, for example, turned out not to be such a good idea.)

One of Night's first stars, Haley Joel Osment, almost missed the remainder of M. Night Couple Days:

Actor Haley Joel Osment was hospitalized early Thursday after he apparently lost control of his car while heading to his Los Angeles area home, authorities said.

Osment, who was nominated for an Academy Award for his role as a boy who could see dead people in "The Sixth Sense," was driving a 1995 Saturn about 1 a.m. when the car collided with a brick pillar and flipped, said Los Angeles County sheriff's Lt. Greg Sisneros.

The 18-year-old actor was awake and talking following the crash, Sisneros said. He had been alone in the car and was taken to Huntington Hospital in nearby Pasadena.

Hope he's ok. Is he seriously old enough to drive now? I guess so.
