Those were the days

The Washington Post has managed to suggest -- see last sentence -- that it's really too bad the U.S. can't broker a cease fire between Israel and Hezbollah like it did in 1993 and 1996, during its reporting that Israel and Hezbollah are waging war against one another, evidently without appreciating how dumb that sounds. How are those two cease fires currently going?
